The mission campaign to Copan Honduras continues to shine the light of Christ into some of the darkest and most remote places here in Honduras. Every day, as we travel deeper into the mountains and farther from the main roads, I am reminded that the gospel is still advancing—quietly, faithfully, and powerfully—into places where missionaries do not travel there on a regular basis. My presence here in Copán is not accidental. It is by divine appointment. God has orchestrated every step, every encounter, every open door. This calling is one I carry with deep conviction, and it is a privilege to walk it out among people whose hunger for God humbles me.
I can honestly say that I have been granted access to places where missionaries seldom reach. Some of these villages are tucked high in the mountains, accessible only by rugged paths and long travel. They are far from the noise of Copan, far from the conveniences of modern life, and far from the attention of the world. Yet, in these seemingly forgotten corners, I have encountered disciples of Christ whose faith shines with extraordinary purity. Their devotion often exceeds my own. Their worship is unpolished but sincere. Their prayers are simple but powerful. Their commitment to Christ is unwavering despite hardship, isolation, and limited resources. Standing among them, I am reminded that God is at work everywhere—moving in hearts, strengthening believers, and building His Church in places most North Americans Christians will never see. These moments reshape me. They remind me that the gospel is not confined to buildings, cities, or programs. It is alive in the mountains, in the valleys, in the remote villages, and in the hearts of men and women who cling to Christ with everything they have.
And I want you to experience this for yourself. If you have ever wondered what crosscultural missions looks like—what it feels like to step into another culture, to share Christ across language barriers, to witness faith in its rawest form—I invite you to come. See it with your own eyes. Feel it in your spirit. Let God stretch your heart and enlarge your compassion. There is a world waiting. There are people ready to hear. There are believers eager to be encouraged. And there is a calling that might just be tugging at your own heart. Come, experience crosscultural missions. Come, and let God show you what He is doing in the remote corners of Honduras—and in the deeper places of your own soul.
