I have just returned from our evangelism campaign in Colombia, October 4-11, 2025, and I find myself searching for words that can hold the weight of what I experienced. It was not just a mission campaign—it was a divine encounter. A collision of heaven’s urgency with Colombia’s spiritual hunger. And I was blessed to be in the middle of it. From the moment our team arrived, we sensed the Spirit of God moving ahead of us. In every plaza, every church, every home, and every roadside conversation, I saw hearts opening—some slowly, some suddenly, but all unmistakably drawn by the love of Christ. We shared the gospel more than 2,299 times. And each time, it felt fresh. Alive. Urgent. I was not repeating a script—I were delivering a lifeline. And the response was overwhelming: 1,885 decisions for Christ. That number represents souls. Stories. Families. Futures rewritten by grace.
Let me tell you about Samuel, my translator in Barranquilla. Samuel is a teenager and this was his first e3 Partners campaign. Samuel was not really interested in the work of evangelism and his inattentiveness to the method of evangelism, caused a hindrance to a clear gospel presentation. Often Samuel would simply walk away and sit down or failed to translate the conversation for me. Through the prayers of many, God changed Samuel. On Wednesday Samuel became more attentive and engaged in the presentation of the evangelcube that aided in sharing the gospel. The gospel is contagious when it begins to penetrate the heart of the presenter.
These stories are just a glimpse. There were dozens more—each one a testimony to the power of obedience, prayer, and presence. I want to thank every one of you who prayed, gave, encouraged, and believed. You were part of this. Your support made it possible for us to go, to speak, to serve. And because of that, lives were changed. But Colombia is not the end—it is a spark. The same Spirit that moved there is moving here in Fredericksburg. We believe this is a season of awakening. A time to rise, to reach, and to respond. So, what is next?
We continue. We disciple. We prepare. We welcome. We speak truth with love. We build a church that goes beyond its walls—into neighborhoods, nations, and hearts. If you are reading this and wondering how to be part of the mission, the answer is simple: start where you are. Pray. Invite. Serve. Share your story. And if God stirs your heart for the nations, come talk to me. On November 7-15, I will be in Nagua, Dominican Republic, participating in evangelizing and church planting. Let us keep building. Let us keep reaching. Let us keep loving.
With deep gratitude and renewed fire,
Pastor Joe
